About The Team:

The Marketing Automation team provides program execution support to APJ, EMEA, and Americas regional marketing teams. We are located in Bangalore, India and Cambridge, USA to provide 16 hours of coverage to our colleagues around the world.

We are made up of two distinct but complementary groups. Working with program marketers, the program execution team uses the marketing automation platfrom, Marketo, to develop and deliver high performing tactics including email, webinar and inbound activities. The contact/lead management team using Marketo and Salesforce CRM ensures the right lead gets to the right rep at the right time.

About the Job:

We are looking for a professional to join our Marketing Automation Team.

The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for HTML coding, testing, scheduling, and deploying email communications using our marketing automation system, Marketo. You will work closely with program marketers from around the world to assist them on ensuring their programs meet program goals and adhere to email and landing page best practices. You will work on various responsive templates for targeted customer, prospect and partner communications. Working with the program managers, you will test subject lines, copy and creative to understand what resonates within each market so always be working on developing more effective tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand program requirements from our ticketing request system to create email, landing page or event programs in Marketo adhering to Marketing Automation best practices.

  • Develop and execute marketing emails for prospects, customers, and partners that are both desktop and mobile responsive.

  • Responsible for complete testing and QA of program functionality, tracking, display and syncing to our CRM system.

  • Work on Marketo programs that require manual list uploads as well as 3rd party list uploads.

  • Pull ad-hoc reporting as needed.

  • Act as an “expert” resource for regional marketing teams on questions relating to email best practice, customer first approach and compliance

  • Provide feedback on existing and future system and/or process improvements

Basic Qualification and experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Overall Experience: 2+ years or equivalent experience

  • Experience using a marketing automation system (Marketo or Eloqua)

  • Demonstrated HTML experience

  • Basic analytical experience with digital marketing campaigns

  • Ability to work Cambridge, MA (USA) hours

Desired Qualification and experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Previous experience working within a multi-national environment

  • Dreamweaver experience a plus

  • Salesforce experience a plus
