Web Strategy & Operations is seeking an organized, driven, results-oriented Analyst to support the development of sales processes and execution of strategic programs. This role will support complex projects and/or programs impacting business goals and objectives and will assist cross-functional team(s) and subject matter experts in their development, planning and implementation of change initiatives. The Analyst will work with the Manager as they guide stakeholders in defining priorities and allocating resources to initiatives or programs. He/she will participate in sessions that will define scope and success criteria, plan schedules, drive work efforts, and monitor project/program from inception through delivery of projects within our team’s charter. He/she will help develop and manage communications with cross-functional team members and senior management in Product, Engineering, Information Security, Sales, Service and Support, Finance and other groups as needed.

As an Associate Strategy and Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the identification and structuring of key strategic projects/initiatives to solve complex business challenges by working with business stakeholders across the organization, managing communications, overseeing milestones and timelines, and leading cross-functional groups to synthesize feedback and deliver on objectives.

  • Track and follow up on process dependencies

  • Draft status updates to be communicated to upper management and required stakeholders within Akamai

  • Document detailed agendas, meeting minutes, and action items from key cross-functional meetings

  • Work closely with leads to deliver strategic insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on business analyses.

About the Team:

The Web Strategy & Operations team is a team of high performing resources working to drive operational excellence across Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing through the execution of strategic programs. Web Strategy and Operations supports these functions through:The discovery, research and root cause analysis of business inefficiencies; Solution and process development; Identification of success measures and success tracking and Program management of change initiatives and implementation of new operational procedures.

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management or its equivalent

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Program/Project Management or equivalent experience, ideally in a cross-functional delivery capacity

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment’

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with impeccable business judgment.

  • Demonstrated experience with program and project management principles and practices or Big 5 Consulting experience a plus

  • Familiarity with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices

  • Knowledge of Risk and Issue management and resolution

  • Detail and action-oriented self-starter

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products

  • Knowledge of JIRA and other Program Management tools

  • Knowledge of and experience with sales and marketing tools a plus (i.e. SFDC, Marketing)
