As a Business Operations Analyst you will be a key member of the Carrier Sales Ops team. As a member of this small but growing team, this individual will be providing key sales forecasting data and analysis to one of our most watched Business Units. We are looking for someone who can not only generate the reports required, but analyze the data underneath.

As a Business Operations Analyst you will:

  • Participate in Sales forecast calls, track orders, and pipeline, and work with and communicate with all levels of Sales and Finance to forecast revenue.

  • Create dashboards and other reports using salesforce.com (SFDC).

  • Provide analysis of data to Sales Management team on a weekly basis

  • Monitor orders through the various processing steps to ensure proper invoicing and revenue recognition

  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly commission processing for Carrier sales team with Akamai Commissions team

  • Provide backup to the manager in reporting for the Carrier Sales team.

About the Team

The Business Operations group is part of the Carrier Division and partners with Sales, Product Management and Finance. The successful candidate will drive projects cross functionally to make process improvements for the Carrier Sales team. The group is focused on providing immediate financial and business support to the senior Sales and Product functions with regular reporting and cadence of sales and business results.

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

  • 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree

Required Skills

  • 2+ years advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

  • 2+ years end user experience with Salesforce.com.

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Finance or Operations role interfacing with Sales teams.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with analyzing data and articulating findings to a broad range of audiences.

  • Experience with creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce.com.
