We are looking for a Network Expense Management Contracts Administrator. Associate to assist in the effective operations of the Contracts Administration team, while maintaining successful relationships with Akamai Vendors, Account Managers, and the Finance department.
As a Network Expense Management Contracts Administrator. Associate you will be responsible for:
Support the Network Expense Management Contracts Team to ensure new contracts, order forms, correspondence, notices from various sources are captured and moved through the workflow.
Accurately review vendor contracts and ensure proper posting into the Network Architect Database.
Log, track and resolve contractual discrepancies, issues and disputes.
Maintain, with high level of integrity, all Network contract data in Akamai’s databases, spreadsheets, and documentation.
Correspond with vendors, Account Managers, Finance team and respond to inquiries.
Maintain operational processes to support greater workflow and management efficiencies.
Assist in special projects as assigned.
About The Team
The Network Expense Management Team is part of Supply Chain Management and is responsible for the management and coordination of Akamai’s Network Contracts and Network Invoices. The team is also responsible for the development of internal controls, execution and compliance against these controls, negotiations with key vendors across the globe in dispute resolution, tracking of issues, and ongoing analysis and reporting. In addition, members of this team act as key business partners assisting the Network Strategy and Deployment teams to successfully manage the various Network contracts and invoices.
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or its equivalent or
Relevant Professional Experience
1+ year of experience in Financial or Operational Analysis or related field.
1+ year of experience working with MS Office programs, especially Excel.
Some knowledge CDN industry jargon preferred.
ERP experience, exposure to Siebel Sales and Oracle a plus.
Exceptional communication skills, written, and verbal.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to perform highly detailed work with accuracy.
Resourceful and takes initiative.
Exposure to foreign currencies.
