Recruiters are in charge of finding talented candidates and helping them envision a career at Akamai. In this role, you will manage candidates throughout every stage of the recruitment process. You will also partner with hiring managers - assessing their needs and guiding them through the process; you will implement creative strategies to find talent and help on-board some of the most talented people in the industry. This is a long term contract with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

Responsibilities:

∗Drive the talent delivery process from beginning to end, develop and implement hiring practices that will provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool

∗Proactively partner with Hiring Managers to understand their current hiring needs and plan for potential future hires

∗Influence and improve the client experience including hiring managers, candidates, new hires, and fellow recruiting staff members

∗Generate status reports & metrics for your groups

∗Foster strong relationships across the regional HR team – ensuring alignment, integration and sharing of key processes and systems and best practices with local and global business needs

*Have FUN!

Basic Qualifications:

∗Overall experience: 2-3 years of in-house recruiting experience

Desired Qualifications:

∗Experience in technical recruiting with an eye for engineering talent

*2 years of experience working in an agency

∗Excellent consultative skills, good at building strong relationships

∗Can work in a fast-paced, diverse, and changing environment

∗Understands metrics, the use of and importance. Not afraid of creating pivot tables.

∗Good written & verbal communication skills

∗Must be energetic, team focused with a strong sense of urgency
